How to use it at a real casino
Two rules decide almost everything: find the blackjack payout on the felt (6:5 alone adds +1.39% — walk away) and ask whether the dealer hits soft 17 (printed on the table, worth 0.22%). Everything else is fine-tuning within a tenth or two. The model is additive around the standard 8-deck baseline, accurate to about ±0.05%; the individually derived costs live on the rules page and the machinery in our methodology.

Under 0.5% with perfect basic strategy is a good table; the best common rule sets reach about 0.35%. Anything over 1% almost always means a 6:5 payout.
What single rule matters most?
Blackjack paying 6:5 instead of 3:2 — worth +1.39%, four to six times any other common rule. It is the first thing to check on any table.
Why is the result approximate?
Rule effects interact slightly — surrender is worth a touch more under H17, for example. The additive model is accurate to about ±0.05%, which is more precision than any casino floor decision needs.
